David Keller

David A. Keller is a Ph.D. candidate in prof. Zaban's group. In 2016 he was awarded with a 3-years PhD scholarship from the fund for applicative and engineering-related research (מי"ה) of the Israeli ministry of science and technology. Earlier in 2016 he received the Bar-Ilan Institute for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials (BINA) scholarship for excellent research students. In 2015 David was awarded with the scholarship of Mordecai and Monique Katz Graduate Fellowship Program for outstanding Ph.D. students.
In 2014 he graduated (2014) cum laude (GPA: 96.72) with an M.Sc degree in Chemistry, after receiving the BINA 2012 and 2013 scholarships for excellent research students. In 2013 he was also awarded with the dean's excellence prize for research students.
In 2012 David joined Prof. Zaban's group after graduating cum laude (GPA: 92.91) from Bar-Ilan University with a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry of Materials and as a member of the Nivcharim honors program.
During his B.Sc, David participated in the "Young Weizmann Scholars" program at the Weizmann Institute, working in Prof. Ilan Koren's lab in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Energy Research.
In 2011 David was selected to be a participant in the 2011 Tikvah Program in Political Leadership at IDC Herzliya.
In completing his army service, he studied for five years at Yeshivat Har-Etzion, combining Jewish studies with military service in the IDF Intelligence Corps.
