Koushik Majhi

Koushik joined the Bar-Ilan Institute of Nanotechnology & Advanced Materials (BINA) in 2012 as a research fellow where he currently holds this position. He received his PhD degree in 2010 from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India in Materials Science (Study of Dielectric & Ferroelectric Perovskites oxides using Impedance Spectroscopy). He received his MSc degree from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India; in Chemistry with Physical Chemistry as major.
His research interests include synthesis and study of glass, ceramic and thin film materials for photonic and electronic applications: nanostructured photovoltaic energy conversion materials; photoactivated phenomena in glass and hybrid thin films; solution and sputter deposition of thin films and nanocomposites (oxides, inorganic-organic hybrids); thermal stability of complex oxide optical materials; Understanding of the underlying Physics/Chemistry of Semiconductor Devices and Interface engineering. Dielectric and Ferroelectric Perovskites Oxide, Semiconductor Device Physics, Solid-State Chemistry, and Interface Engineering in Semiconductor Hetero-Junctions and All-Oxide thin-films Photovoltaics.
